SMILEY FACE

I love smiley faces, always have always will.  When I taught high school students and junior high students they loved them too.  Young and old love smiley faces.  Lets just be honest, who doesn’t like a smiley face?  Everyone does.  Smiles are contagious much like yawns are.   Years ago my husband asked me,  “If you could have anything in the world what would it be?”  I thought for a moment and then said, “Just happiness, be happy!”

There is a prescription for happiness.  It is different from medication.   It doesn’t come in a pill bottle and your doctor doesn’t have to prescribe it to you.    It is easy to attain and you can find it everywhere and anywhere. 

If we turn our lives over to the Lord and allow the Holy Spirit to reside within us we will be happy.  That doesn’t mean that adversity won’t come into our lives, but living with the Holy Spirit dwelling in us we will have contentment through all circumstances. Being happy is a by-product of standing firm in faith.  When our lives are truly devoted to Him, we will be happy, even during the trails of our lives.

So when bad comes your way and the sunshine is hiding behind the clouds turn to Him.  If it is raining on your parade or you feel the walls are caving in on you turn to Him.  Don’t let anything bring you down, just turn to Him.  God wants you to be happy.  He smiles when we smile.  Don’t worry have faith in Him be content in whatever circumstance, be happy!
