CHANGE


UGG!  I hate to diet, however I can say that when I eat right and exercise I do feel much better.  The Daniel Plan is a great way to get healthy, first because it isn’t a diet.  The Daniel Plan’s foundation is faith.  I love what the developers of this program say about a mirror, “It’s not about the mirror; it’s about the one we’re trying to mirror.” 

Rick Warren bases the DP plan on Philippians 4; 13, however he feels the most important scriptures in the Bible come from Romans chapter 7 & 8.  There is change that takes place from chapter 7 to chapter 8.  In chapter 7 the I, me and my are used 27 times.  This chapter deals with someone wanting to leave the life of sin, but doesn’t really know how to change.  Chapter 8 is completely different.  Chapter 8 gives us the benefits of walking in God’s Spirit.  Spirit is written 18-19 times in this chapter.  So chapter 7 deals with wanting to change and chapter 8 leads us to it. 

Read chapter Romans 8 and remember with faith change is on it’s way!  God gives us the power to change.  God’s word is the health book of life; begin reading it today.  Attack the day with faith!
