Tonight I started making the Ground Turkey Stuffed Bell Peppers from The Daniel Plan, but we
ended up just eating it and not putting it in the peppers. We loved it, even the girls, which is
unusual.
1 lb. ground turkey
1-cup organic tomato sauce
1 bell pepper
½ onion
1 stalk celery
1 tsp. extra virgin olive oil
1-cup brown rice
Sea salt, pepper, garlic, basil, parsley
(I changed the recipe some so the girls would eat it)
Brown ground turkey, sauté bell pepper, onion and celery in
olive oil, add to ground turkey, add seasonings and tomato sauce, let simmer
while 1 cup of brown rice is cooking in 2cups of water. Mix rice with turkey mixture. Enjoy
You can add this to hollowed bell peppers and bake. I also added Parmesan cheese to the top of
mine- fabulous!
