On Sunday mornings I have my routine. My alarm goes off, I get out of bed, go to
the kitchen, get my coffee and sit down to watch Dr. David Jeremiah then Joel
Osteen. Dr. Jeremiahs show is entitled
“Turning Points.” Turning points? Have you ever had a turning point or do you
need a turning point?
When we reach the turning point in the road of life we get
to a turn in the road. This spot in the road is a critical one. It is temporary but must be experienced. Even though the situation may be a crisis we
will receive beneficial results. It is
that moment of truth that leaves you at an “aha” inflection point.
When you hit a turning point go to God in prayer. Pray to Him for His will for your life. He knows what He is doing. This pothole on your journey is only
temporary, but it will have huge results if you approach it in the correct
manner. With Him is the only way. You can’t rush the situation y must embrace
it with His timing. You may feel as if
you are failing, but God doesn’t fail.
He is consistently reliable. He
is leading us in the direction of His will, even if it is through the mud and
the ruts in the road. Let Him take over
your turning point.
God has your best interest at heart. It may not appear that way during your
turning point, but after you turn and hit the straight away you will see
it. Go to Him for the strength you need
while turning.
1 Chronicles 16:11 Look to the Lord and his strength; seek
his face always
