SUNSHINE

Let the sunshine in!  I opened the front door this morning and wham the sunrays hit me in my face.  The ground is still partially covered with snow, so when I opened the door the brightness of the elements came pouring into our home.  It was like a breath of fresh air.

God’s love is like the sunshine.  It is always there.  Even on those days of cloudiness and gloominess His love is ever-present.    He will come beaming into our lives when we least expect it or when He is most needed.  He is the direct sunlight that can’t be broken by clouds.  He covers a large area and envelopes all with His warmth.  This sunshine brings us cheer, gladness, and joy.  All who go to Him feels his radiance.

David spoke in 2 Samuel 23:4 comparing Jesus to the sunshine.   “He is like the light of morning at sunrise on a cloudless morning like the brightness after rain that brings grass from the earth.”  He was giving the prophecy that one-day Jesus Christ will come to earth to rule in perfect peace and justice.  He will be our every present sunshine on a cloudy day bringing forth growth in all of us.   

The Lord is the direct ray that penetrates your life with love.  He is the source of light, sparkling and shining for the world to see.  Be the beacon illuminating God’s love. Lets others see Him beaming through you.
