SHIFT

It is beginning, the blooming of a new season.  I look outside and the colors are changing.  The dull colors of grey are shifting to the bright colors of green.  The longer hours of sunshine allow us to enjoy the outdoors.  It is amazing how two weeks ago we had six inches of snow, now no remnants of white remain only the springing up of new life.

Our lives are like the seasons.  We can have a season of dull unhappy moments then in an instant it can shift to that of brightness.  We can have rainy days that quickly shift into sunshine of happiness.  There can be times that we don’t enjoy, then all of a sudden an about-face that is filled with excitement and joy.

If you are in a dark dull season have no worry.  Remember how God created the seasons and how quickly they can transform from the dull winter to the uplifting spring?  He can do the same with your life.  It may not change as quickly as the seasons of nature, but the seasons of life will go through a conversion if you allow Him to work within us.

When you need a transition from one season to the next turn to Him.  You can be launched into a new season with faith that is produced by clarity of vision.  Any fear that you have must be removed from your heart.  You must live with the Spirit living within you.  Being Spirit led is what God wants us to do.  When you learn to be led by the Spirit the decisions you make come from Him.  This can actually accelerate and shift your season.

We must have the vision to see the divine potential in Jesus.  Having this clarity allows Him to work within us.  He has planned out all the seasons of our lives with infinite wisdom.  He will water, nurture, and fertilize us.  He knows the fruit that we will be harvesting during each time.  Be Spirit led and see your life grow with the blessings from every season.  Whether dull and gray or sunshiny and bright you will find joy in every season with Him.

Romans 15:13New International Version (NIV)
13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace, as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
