RESUME

When someone applies for a job or a new position they usually have to fill out a form and attach a resume.  Resume’s can be short and simple or long and informative.  It all depends on what your approach to the application process is. 

What if we had to apply to God and turn in a resume?  You are probably having the same thoughts I am, Oh NO!  The one thing about turning in these two items is that they would be blank.  Why is that?  Because when we come to Christ accepting Him as our Lord and savior our slate is wiped clean, we are forgiven. 

There is only one resume that is good standing and full of God’s favor and that is Jesus’s resume.  Our resumes would never compare to that of Jesus.  His resume is perfect and He accomplished milestones that we could never reach.  His life was perfect, fulfilling God’s will and suffering for our sins. 

Our resumes are that of faith.   Giving our lives to Christ and realizing that we enter into eternal life on His resume not our own.
