SELFLESS

When you become a mother you convert into a selfless person.  Things that were once important aren’t.  You are more concerned with your child’s needs than ones self.  You make sacrifices and go through a metamorphosis.  You surrender the life of being selfish and change into that of an unselfish parent. 

The past three weeks I have watched my daughter fall into the role of mom.  She is in love with a little 8-pound bundle.  What was once important to her isn’t important anymore.  She loves unconditionally and with no strings attached.  She is head over heels with this little miracle. 

Just as a mother loves her child our heavenly father cares for His creation.  He simply just loves us with no if’s and’s or buts.  No matter how good or bad we are He still loves us.  There are no strings attached.  We don’t have to bribe Him; it is just His nature to love.

God’s selfless love is amazing.  Everything He does is done out of the love that He has for sinful people.  Trust Him, who has true love for you, He has your best interests in mind.
