JACKPOT

On the news this morning the headlines read,  “three win $564 million jackpot.”  They continued by saying that many all over the United States won different amounts of money.  In our small town we have a store that is the largest selling lottery ticket venue in our state.  I think of how many people waste their hard earned dollars, hoping that they will be on the news winning the million. 

Is there an easier way to hit the jackpot?  Of course there is.  In the article “How to hit $550M Jackpot” an Orlando man says he knows how to hit the jackpot.  His advice, “ Pick a set of numbers and stick with them.”(Fox 4 News, WFTX-TV)  So how do you hit the jackpot?  Pick God and stick with Him!

The Lords jackpot contains more than just a monetary amount.  It is made up of those things that make our life worthwhile.

·      When we choose the Lord and stick with Him we are automatically forgiven.

·      We also receive love no matter what.  The Lord loves us and never leaves us. 

·      The Lord will point us in the right direction, giving us the guidance that we need.

·      The Lords listening ear is always available anytime day or night. 

·      Many blessings await us for today and tomorrow. 

When you choose God your jackpot will be worth more than millions.  It will be filled with the promises of God.  There is nothing better than that!
