I started thinking about our family relationship this
morning. There are four women in our
family, our three daughters and myself.
When you get one of us you get all of us. Some people don’t understand our
relationship, but to us it is wonderful.
The four of us form an inner circle that is hard to permeate. When one is upset or hurt the other three
move in to rescue. We are each there for
the other whether we need a listening ear or a comforting hug. Blessed are we!
Our family relationship is one that I treasure, however
there is another relationship that is also dear to my heart. That relationship is the one I have with the
Lord. I ask you, “Do you have a
relationship with the Lord?”
If you don’t have a relationship with the Lord start
building one today. It begins by simply
putting your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. When we put our trust in Him our life
changes. He promises us first and far
most eternal life. He also promises to never
leave us. (Hebrews 13:5) He forgives all
of our sins, past, present and future.
He gives us the presence of the Holy Spirit to enable us to live the way
that pleases Him. (Galatians 5:25)
God wants to have a relationship with you. He wants you to communicate with Him and
fellowship with Him. Communicate with
Him; He is waiting on you with a listening ear.
He is your inner circle that protects you from the hurtful circumstances
of the world. Form a relationship with
Him today.
