I love coffee, anytime of the day any season. It doesn’t have to be cold outside for me to
drink it. I like it strong, hot with a
pinch of stevia and a dip of creamer. I
like to fill it to the brim, sometimes even overflowing over the edge.
Are you overflowing?
What are you overflowing with? I
have found personally that when I am overflowing with Christ I am positive and
full of joy, but the flipside to that is when I let the devil take over my
thoughts. When that happens I overflow
with negativity and sadness. So what is
it going to be with you? Are you going
to overflow with the joy of Christ or the alternative?
During this Lenten season remember what Jesus did for us,
this alone should remind us to have joy.
His sacrifice on the cross gives us the reason to be joyful even in
trials. This doesn’t mean that we are
without melancholy moments, however it does mean that we can have peace during these
times because of Him. He has given us
the reason to be joyful. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)
Start today and be a person that is overflowing with joy for
Christ. Rejoice always and pray
continually, giving thanks in all circumstances and you will have no other
option than to be joyful!
Fill yourself to the brim and overflow with joy!
