TRANSFORMED

My home has been transformed.  What once was a clean picked up put together place now has diapers, bottles, pacifiers and all types of baby items located all over.  My dishwasher and washing machine, which only ran every so often, now has a load going at all times.  It probably would have bothered me several years ago, but now it doesn’t phase me.  I wouldn’t have it any other way.

When things are transformed they go through a transformation, a change.  Many of us have to go through a transformation to be whom and what God wants us to be.  We are like that of a butterfly going through a metamorphosis for the Lord. 

In the Greek language transformed means to have a major or total change. God expects us to have a profound change to be better Christians, but we can’t go through this metamorphosis on our own.  When we receive Gods Spirit it is then that our spirit led transformation takes place. 

In the book of Romans Paul wrote to the Christians “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. “ (Romans 12:2)  “Only those who are converted spiritually transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit are Christians. “(Romans 8:9)  We should do as Paul says and do not conform to this world but be transformed for Christ. 

Break out of your cocoon and live for the Lord.  Go through the transformation that will lead you to peace and happiness.  Let your metamorphosis begin.
