New Years Eve we had a great fire going outside. The old wood would burn very fast and the new
green wood would take its timing turning into ashes. Jay decided he was going to load up the
fireplace so that the next morning a fire would still be going. I
awoke January 1 and looked out the window.
No fire, not even a spark. I was
so disappointed.
Don’t let your fire go out during 2015. Keep the spark alive. How do we do this?
Go to God everyday.
Yes there will be setbacks and challenges that come upon you. You will have your peace stolen; however you
can overcome all of these things with the peace of the Lord. The goodness of the Lord overcomes any
evil. God stands guard over our hearts
keeping the fire going deep within our souls.
Paul tells us in Philippians 4:6-7 to pray more. We will have worries that are attached to
many things in our lives, jobs, families, friends, but Paul says to turn our
worries into prayers. If you want to
worry less about the challenges then go to Him with prayer. Prayer gives us the true peace of God. This peace keeps putting wood on our fire and
burns out the conflict that is presence.
The fire that keeps burning is our knowing that God is in complete
control.
Keep the flame of your faith burning all day everyday. The glow of your faith is pleasing to
God. God will keep fueling our flame
with the Holy Spirits presence within us.
Burn baby burn! Show others the glow of God that is shining from within
you.
