REASON

We just finished the “Reason for the Season.”  Many decisions we make have a reason.  When we have a reason to follow through with something it is because of some belief, cause, action or fact.  Having good reason with decisions means we have good sense, logic and sound judgment.

When researching statistics of Christians and non-Christians.  There isn’t evidence that Christians have a life absent of difficulties.  Just as many Christians have cancer as non-Christians.  Christians aren’t immune to disaster. Christians aren’t favored with prosperities.

So what is the reason that we follow Christ?  The reason is because he is the reason for all seasons of life.  He is the certain in the uncertain world.  He is our hope.  He is the center that holds all together.  He saves us.  He loves us unconditional. 

Our reason for joy and peace in 2015 is found in Him.  Our reason isn’t so that we are promised a life being healthy, wealthy and wise, but a life of purpose because of Him.  We follow Him because He alone has claimed us and He alone can save us.
