STOLEN MINUTES

We stayed up late watching a movie last night, therefore this morning when my alarm went off at 6am what did I do?  I turned it off.  Once again like yesterday my day started later than I intended.  It makes me so mad when I do that.  It puts me off my schedule and my day just seems to go in the wrong direction.  I am 2 hours behind what I normally do everyday and I miss GMA, in which I love.  The day becomes unimportant because I am off my normal routine.

While looking through quotes I found this one by Alexander Woollcott, “There is no such thing in anyone’s life as an unimportant day.”  How I needed this.  Just because my day started later than normal doesn’t mean that it can’t be a productive day.  Satan comes running into our lives when he see’s that we are grumbling about something.  When we feel as if our day has gotten off to a wrong start he loves it.  It gives him the opportunity to make his move.  However the Lord is there wanting us to enjoy the day, even if it doesn’t contain as many hours as we would like for it to have.

John 10:10 says, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy.  I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”  Satan comes in and wants to take our good days; Jesus comes in and gives us a happy content life.  He gives us an abundantly richer and fuller life.  We can make anyday a good productive one because Jesus gave us an overflowing of forgiveness, love, and guidance.

With that being said if you are like me and sometimes you get off to a late start remember there are still many hours left for you to be productive.  Don’t give Satan anymore time than he has already stolen from you.  Lock the thief in prison and make every minute and every hour of everyday important.
