Jay’s alarm started going off at 4:30. This is an every morning occurrence. It goes off usually beginning at 3:30 and he
hits snooze for an HOUR!!! This morning
he didn’t hit snooze he didn’t do anything.
It just kept going off and off and off.
His alarm is located right by his head and he never hears it. Me, on the other hand, I forgot to set my
alarm so I overslept. After waking up at
3:30-4:30 over and over I just kept on snoozing.
An alarm, to be anxious and have an awareness of danger, to
feel frightened or disturbed, to be protected with an alarm, or a sound or
device. There are alarms for many
things, but the one that I have become accustomed to is my God alarm. When you allow the Holy Spirit to dwell
within you the God alarm lives with in.
This alarm makes you feel uneasy when you aren’t doing what brings you
peace. This alarm sounds with a large
noise when you are doing something you shouldn’t be. It is during the sounding of the God alarm
when we should go straight to Him. Let
go of the situation and turn it immediately over letting the Lord take care of
it.
The next time this happens to you, the inner feeling of
uneasy, don’t hit the snooze or ignore the alarm. Turn it over to the Lord immediately. Let it go and let Him awaken and take care of
the situation.
Job 5:17-18
New International Version (NIV)
17
“Blessed is the one whom God corrects;
so do not despise the
discipline of the Almighty.[a]
18
For
he wounds, but he also binds up;
he injures, but his
hands also heal.
