CANVAS

I have a canvas I painted several years ago that I really don’t like.  I hated to just discard the canvas because if you paint you know how expensive canvases are.  Instead of throwing it away I decided that I would just paint over it.  I started by putting spray paint on it, then acrylic paint then I finished with putting my footprints on it.  Today I’m going to complete my project with a quote that I love about steps.  In the end my failed canvas has turned into a masterpiece that I love. 

Just like my canvas sometimes there are people in our lives that we don’t like very much or it may be that it is us that we don’t enjoy.  Lesson learned don’t discard change can occur.  Much like my painting, we may just have to change the canvas, add a little bit of this and a little bit of that. 

If you are struggling with an area of your life that you don’t like change it.  Don’t be discouraged there is a way to find freedom through change.  God’s grace can make a difference in your life.  Grace lives in the heart of God that enables Him to deal with our sins and us.  It is God that never leaves us when we turn from Him.  It is God that is always faithful when we aren’t.  It is God that loves us when we don’t love ourselves.  It is through the grace of God that we are free.  It is through His grace that we can be changed. 

Starting today give God your whole canvas.  He will add what you need to make your canvas whole.  He will help you make changes so that you will feel beautiful and worthy again.  Through grace we are completely transformed and not discarded.  Your canvas is and always will be a masterpiece created and transformed by God.
