Needless to say my bucket was completely filled yesterday. It is overflowing. In todays world with all of the social media
birthdays are incredible. My first
birthday wish came from Canada. Isn’t
that amazing?
Did you know that we are all like buckets? My favorite book “How Full is Your Bucket” gives
you insight on this information. How are
we like buckets you may ask? All day
long every interaction we have with anyone either fills our bucket or dips out
of our bucket.
We are all bucket fillers and bucket dippers. “I dip, You dip, We dip!” You may think you never dip out of someone’s
bucket, but trust me you do. I am guilty
of being a dipper.
Our number one dipper is Satan. We allow him to dip out of our bucket. We have fear, anxiety and apprehension. We let him work through others words and
actions. We give him the rope to pull us
into the wicked word of lies, deception and perception.
How do we not let Satan or anyone else dip out of our
buckets? Follow this acronym for EMPTY!
E ENCOURAGER Matthew 6:33 seek Him first- God is your #1
encourager. Go to Him with any problem. Also find your EMT (encouraging motivating
team) in your world. God didn’t create
us to be alone. Find a team of Christian
friends to encircle you with.
M MISSION Jesus was put here to serve not to be served. Find your gifts and talents (1Peter 4:10 find
yours serve others)
P PRAY pray continually, not sometimes but all the time
(1Thessalonians 5:17)
T TOMB remember the tomb was empty for us. Because of Jesus’s death and resurrection we
are blessed and forgiven. (2 Corinthians 5:15)
Y YOU take a look in the mirror, do you see a person who is
living today or are you looking in the rearview mirror? Start today living! 1 Thessalonians 4 (Live
in a way that pleases God) Don’t let Satan dip your bucket dry. Fill your bucket and live for God today.
Be a bucket filler not a bucket dipper!
