Driving down the interstate at 70mph, my friend was
distracted. The next thing she knew she
had collided with the car in front of her.
No brakes applied until the very end.
She was lucky. No major injuries
only damage to the vehicles.
This is what happens when we become distracted. Unable to
concentrate, our minds become preoccupied with worldly things. These distractions lead us away from what our
true focus should be. We become
careless, unmindful and inattentive.
When this happens a huge collision occurs. It usually involves something in the sinful
nature. Then our world and those
connected to us is damaged.
Are you distracted?
Have you become disconnected, unmindful, careless and inattentive? Have you slammed into the vehicle of life and
broken apart your life and others?
The world around us is in spiritual warfare and so are
we. For us to not be distracted we must
have zero tolerance for the sin of distraction.
We can’t leave the door open for Satan to grab ahold of us when we are
inattentive. We must live obedient to
Christ and be full of faith. We must
pray without ceasing so that we are never led to jump in Satan’s vehicle.
Do you want to wreck havoc on your life and those around
you? I didn’t think so. Pray continually to not be distracted. Keep your focus on the Lord and not on the
influences the world places in front of you.
Keep your faith strong. Keep your
level of consecration high. Stay committed to Him and His truth.
Don’t become distracted and be attracted to Satan’s schemes!
