BIRTH

Uplifted that is how I felt!  Birthdays during this day and age are incredible.  With Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, text messaging birthday wishes come from all over.  It is just unbelievable.  My first birthday wish on my Facebook wall came from Canada.  Isn’t that amazing?  We are connected to people all over the globe.

The most significant birthday was the birthday of Jesus.  Just think what it would be like if we blessed Jesus’s birthday like we bless everyone else’s?  Think of how many people would be reminded of such an incredible person.

Start today the first day of December preparing for Jesus’s birth.  Begin to fill your manger with everything that will make baby Jesus comfortable in your home.  Invite Him in to share in the joy of the season.

He uplifts us everyday with His blessings, uplift Him sharing Him with others during this holiday season.

Luke 2:1-20 New International Version (NIV)
The Birth of Jesus
In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world. (This was the first census that took place while[a] Quirinius was governor of Syria.) And everyone went to their own town to register.

So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them.
