For the past several days I have been helping my niece write
one of her papers for college. She had
all the information all she needed was for the info to be organized. I printed the rough draft, read through it,
marked on it, and moved things around. After
that we added charts and graphs finished the citations and the paper was ready
to go.
In our lives today at times we seem to be in total chaos,
much like that of a disorganized paper.
We are disorganized and are constantly reacting to anything and
everything that we encounter. We fill
our weeks with scheduled activities, going here and going there. We can’t remember whether we are going or
coming. Our homes tend to become
disorganized and our lives are chaotic.
Having time to just chill out seems to be years away.
We should find comfort in the midst of all the chaos in
knowing that God is organized and He wants us to be. He has planned our lives, He already knows
what tomorrow will bring, so why not sit back and let His plan fold out in front
of us? God placed everything on earth in
a perfect and orderly manner. From the
exodus of the Israelites to the Ark, God planned everything in an orderly
organized manner.
Much like the way Jenna and I organized her paper God has
organized our lives. He has placed one
paragraph after another in the way that our lives should flow from one event to
the other. The Lord isn’t a Lord of
chaos and confusion; He is a Lord or organized and order. Follow His plan let your life fall into place
in an orderly fashion just as the Lord directs it to be. If we find ourselves in a place where our
lives have been interrupted and we feel that we are disorganized, look at the
rough draft of your life and let God organize you. There is only one citation for our lives and
that is God!
1 Corinthians 14:40
English Standard Version (ESV)
